little Server question

Hi everyone, i was hoping one of you in the know people could answer me a quick question. I have a little server running for a few friends and i was advised that i should reboot the server/cccam on a regular basis, Is this really neccessary and can this be done automatically at a specified time every night.

\r\nif you are running a linux based server ie debian then you can script an automatic reboot at a specified time if you want
\r\ni think rebooting is a personal preference when running only a small server but when altering anything in CCcam.cfg etc then a reboot should be done\r\n \r\n

\r\n \r\n Thanks for the info, Its only a small server running from a dreambox so i suppose there is no real need to reboot it every night.\r\n \r\n

\r\n \r\n you shouldnt need to reboot the dreambox but if you did want to just do as afc says above ,your router is a little different as it can get very warm especialy so in these warm months so if you usually leave your router on full time it might be an idea to unplug it once a week overnight to let it cool and also to give it a break.\r\n \r\n
